History of rowing

The best known rower in ancient time was undoubtly Ben Hur. He was one of the
rowers in the Roman fleet and later turned his attention to horse driving.It is a
known fact that the first Dutchmen,the so called batavieren, rowed along the
Rhine to their new home land.
